The two men arrested for allegedly pushing an 18-year-old student from the seventh floor of an Arcadia building on Saturday morning are due in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
The duo aged 23 and 27 first appeared in court on Tuesday, 19 March and are expected to apply for bail.
The men were arrested on Sunday afternoon after police worked tirelessly throughout the night to locate them, Sunnyside police spokesperson Captain Daniel Mavimbela said.

He told Rekord that the two were alleged to have had an altercation with the student shortly before he was allegedly pushed from the seventh floor of The Wall Flat in Arcadia.
Mavimbela said the victim was rushed to hospital where he later died in the afternoon.
“According to an eyewitness account, the victim was involved in an argument with the suspects before he was pushed.”
Sunnyside police station commander Brigadier Ramakamakama Kekana commended the officers for bringing the suspects to book within 72 hours.
“Informers and other members of the community must also be thanked for providing the information that let to both the identification and apprehension of the suspects,” said Kekana.
The victim’s friend, Don Chido said the deceased was from Limpopo and he had been in Pretoria for about three months.
“He was the most selfless person. He had such a big heart, he loved everyone. He would always be there for me at my lowest.”
He was said to be at a music school in Pretoria.
“He was a very talented hip hop artist who loved music. Not only did he write songs but he also produced songs. He was vastly talented,” said his friend.

Social media users started the #JusticeForLesedi movement with some saying they wished the death penalty was possible for all murderers instead of keeping them in a place where they still found joy.
One user said murderers enjoyed many privileges in jail that jail time did not worry them.
