The man accused of the murder of a Queenswood resident will appear in court soon.
Police spokesperson Captain Coba Brits said Pierre de Jonge was expected to appear in the Pretoria Regional Court on 2 May in connection with the murder of Elbé Oosthuizen.
De Jonge will remain in police custody until then.
He last appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on 21 December, where the case was postponed for further investigation.
De Jonge first appeared in court on 8 August and again on 23 October, when the case was also postponed.
De Jonge was arrested on the same day that Oosthuizen was murdered in Storey Avenue in August last year.
