The city’s utility services department has scheduled maintenance work on a pipeline that services a portion of Pretoria West, next week Tuesday.
“Our artisans will work on a broken water reticulation isolating valve that needs to be replaced,” Tshwane metro said in a statement.
Water supply to residents and businesses in the west will be interrupted for nine hours, from 07:00 until 16:00.
“Only properties located to the south of Charlotte Maxeke Street and west of the railway line will be affected.”
The metro advised residents to make provision for emergency water that could be used during the outage.
“We appeal to all the residents to use water sparingly during this time.”
