School shoes donated to needy east learners
"We have decided to form the organisation to lend a helping hand within the community of Mamelodi."
Thirty-two Bajabulile Primary School learners will not stress about facing the freezing mornings this winter.
This thanks to a neighbour who donated shoes and socks to the needy at the Mamelodi East, Extension 4 school recently.
Thabo Phetla said his non-profit organisation Thari ye Ntsho made the generous donation to lend a helping hand to the needy in Mamelodi.

Phetla said the school identified the most needy learners and the organisation went out to raise donations on their behalf.
He said the handover was made on 6 June.
Phetla said Thari was running a “Dress a child to school” project and were asking the help of individuals and local business to assist them in the fight against poverty.
Bajabulile deputy principal Joyce Aphane received the donation from the organisation on behalf of the school.
Phetla thanked local business Mothibi Solutions and the gambling board for their assistance in realising the goals of the “Dress a child to school” project.
He encouraged the community to take hands with his organisation to help others.
