Two outbuildings in the property of an Eersterust resident went up in flames on Monday.
The fire broke out in the morning in Warries Avenue, said CPF chairperson Henry Godfrey.
“It seems to be a short circuit that caused the fire,” he said.

“People in the area said they smelled burnt wiring.”
Godfrey said no one was injured in the fire even though people were living in the two outbuildings.
“They have lost everything in the fire,” he said.

In the past weeks, several houses has burnt down in Pretoria, leaving residents with nothing.
