Several streets closed in Centurion march
The residents are marching against the lack of service delivery in the area and the removal of their ward councillor.
The Tshwane metro police have advised motorists to use alternative roads due to a service delivery protest in Centurion on Wednesday.
The marchers gathered at Von Willich and Rabie Street around 09:00 before walking to the Centurion Municipality Offices to hand over their memorandum of demands, metro police spokesperson Senior Superintended Isaac Mahamba.
“From Von Willich Street and Rabie Avenue, the marches will turn right into Basden Street and proceed to the municipality offices. They are expected to disperse at 12:30,” he said.

Mahamba said the metro police were deployed to monitor the march and advised motorists to use alternative routes.
The residents, who are from Olievenhoutbosch, are marching against poor service delivery in the area and the removal of their ward councillor.
