Pedestrian seriously hurt in the north

The accident happened around 6:14 on Sefako Makgatho Drive.

A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle in Montana on Tuesday morning.

According to Netcare 911 emergency service spokesperson Shawn Herbst, the accident happened around 6:14 on Sefako Makgatho Drive.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the man sustained serious injuries after being knocked down by a light motor vehicle while crossing the road.”

Herbst said the man was treated on the scene by an advanced life support paramedic and once stabilised, was taken by ambulance to hospital.
