The Fauresmith International Endurance Ride as considered one of the toughest in the world. This year it covered 206km over three days!
Juan Venter in Grade 8 at Maragon Mooikloof participated in this event with his horse. He and his horse, unfortunately, had a fall on the second day during the second leg.
Unfortunately, they could not complete the ride. Both are fine though.
He and his horse rode like champs and he put his horse’s welfare first, showing us the true caring horseman that he is.
