The Oscar Pistorius trial made history for being the first murder trial ever to be televised live in South Africa, heightening worldwide interest, but also with lots of speculation on what truly happened that fateful night.
The goal of this documentary is to give Reeva a voice through her loved ones, instead of focusing on her being a victim and the alarming rate of femicide in South Africa.
“Through this documentary, we are determined to tell Reeva’s story, people will get to see another side that seeks to answer some of the questions that have been left unanswered, the truth and who Reeva was. She would want us to do this for her,” said June Steenkamp.
