UPDATE: North kidnap, murder accused abandons bail bid
Tutubala, who was on parole for sexual assault, has seen his parole revoked.
Kidnap and murder accused Daniel Tutubala abandoned his bid for bail when he appeared in the Soshanguve magistrate’s court on Friday.
The court was packed with community members who wanted to show the Nkomo family and the victim’s mother support.
It was alleged that on 14 August, Tutubala kidnapped Tshepang Nkomo (7) from school and later strangled him with a shoelace.
During his first appearance, it was put to Tutubla that he allegedly “unlawfully and intentionally deprived Tshepang Kgomo (7) of his right of freedom of movement by means of forcing him from the school premises to a bush in block Y Soshanguve”.
