The National Heritage Day is observed on 24 September, where celebrations of the past and future of our country are held. Sutherland High School celebrated Heritage Day on 9 September, by holding an assembly where learners from different cultures were dressed in their traditional dress and presented interesting facts regarding their culture and traditions to the school. This gave each learner an insight into the different cultures. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to hear about the various traditions and to celebrate this special day. We look forward to continued learning about each other’s cultures and seeing the positive changes this brings about in our learners.
