Eskom stage 2 load shedding to last most of Thursday
“Stage 2 load shedding will be from 09:00 until 23:00 to protect our power system from total collapse,” Eskom said in a statement.

Eskom has again implemented stage 2 load shedding on Thursday morning.
The power utility said this was a result of a shortage of capacity due to a number of generating units still out of service due to breakdowns.
“Stage 2 load shedding will be from 09:00 until 23:00 to protect our power system from total collapse,” Eskom said in a statement.
“We unreservedly apologise to South Africans to the negative impact this may have on them and want to assure the nation that we continue to work tirelessly to ensure the security of energy supply.”
