Antique market to raise funds for SPCA

The festive season is around the corner, and many people are deciding to declutter and donate to the less fortunate.

The festive season is around the corner, and many people are deciding to declutter and donate to the less fortunate.

If you’re planning on doing this, consider helping out the SPCA at the annual Brooklyn Square SPCA Antique Market on 16 December from 08:30 until 16:00.

“You can help us in our fundraising efforts by donating your unwanted but sellable pre-loved collectables to SPCA Tshwane,” the SPCA said.

“We are collecting books, art, furniture, paintings, Persian carpets, bric-a-brac, silver plated items, brass items, porcelain, tea-sets, even pre-loved designer clothing, bags or shoes.”

The SPCA will sell these items to raise funds to cover the operational costs for the care of animals.

For more information about the fair or to learn how you can donate any items, contact Riaan Visser on 082-570-9079 or send an email to fundraising@spcapta.org.za.
