A video has been shared on social media showing what happened during a cross pavement robbery in Danville on Saturday.
The incident happened around 13:05 at a shop on the corner of Knight Street and De Villiers Avenue.
In the video, a security guard can be seen walking to the armoured vehicle carrying cash.
He looks to the side before putting the money in the back of the vehicle. Shortly after, he is approached by four armed men.

When the driver of the armoured vehicle drives away, one of the men jumps into the back of the vehicle and two follow on foot.
The remaining alleged robber can be seen holding a firearm over the security guard’s head while he waiting for the other men to return.
They fled the scene shortly after.
The suspects managed to get away with an undisclosed amount of money.

No shots were fired and that no injuries were reported.
The police could not yet say if anyone had yet been arrested.
