Rekord takes extra precautions to ensure safety of readers, employees
Both our distribution trucks and offices have undergone extensive cleaning using innovative thermal fogging technology.
Concerns about the spread of Covid-19 remains high despite the government’s decision to start easing lockdown regulations.
Print media has also been declared an essential service and our commitment as Rekord to bringing you accurate news still stands.
For that reason, and to protect our readers, Rekord has taken extra precautions to limit any possible spread of Covid-19.
This includes having our distribution trucks and offices undergo a process known as thermal fogging.
This process uses a verified and tested biocide chemical which is heated and sprayed in a fog or dry smoke form by Jeric Administrators.
WATCH:
The fog or dry smoke reaches even the toughest of spots.
The process ensures that all surfaces are properly cleaned of any microbes, pathogens and viruses.
This week, the trucks that deliver your weekly paper, as well as our offices, underwent this process to ensure that you, the reader, is safe.
To ensure the safety of our staff, those delivering your papers have also been provided with face shields and the necessary PPE to protect them from any exposure to Covid-19.
KYK:
Our staff are practising social distancing while delivering your paper, so you can rest assured.
Your Rekord newspaper is 100% safe to read!
