Woman killed in Centurion collision
While medics were getting ready to airlift her to hospital, her condition deteriorated.
A woman was killed in a collision on the Old Johannesburg Road in Centurion on Thursday evening.
Emergency service Netcare 911’s Shawn Herbst said it was unclear what the cause of the accident was.
“Two vehicles were involved.

“The driver of the one vehicle sustained critical injuries. She was treated on the scene by advanced life support paramedics. While they were getting ready to airlift her to hospital, her condition deteriorated.
“Attempts to resuscitate her did not bear fruit as, unfortunately, her injuries were too severe and she was declared dead on the scene,” he said.
Herbst said the driver of the second vehicle was unharmed.
The cause of the collision was unknown.
