With Covid-19 daily cases levelling down, Makhura warns it’s no time to ‘let our guard down’

Pretoria has been among the regions in the province showing a decline in cases.

While the Covid-19 stats continue to decline in Pretoria and throughout the province, Gauteng Premier David Makhura has cautioned residents not to let ‘their guard down’.

Speaking at the Gauteng media briefing David Makhura said the continued decrease in the number of new positive cases and the increase in recoveries was an indication that the province is making good progress in the fight against the pandemic. However, “it is not yet time for us to let our guard down”.
