Tshwane North corridor police arrested over 90 suspects after holding various operations on the weekend.
Captain Stephen Maluleka said these arrests were made through “the dedicated efforts by the men and women in blue who relentlessly and meticulously traced wanted suspects”.
“The suspects were arrested through intelligence-driven, high-density operations and conducting stop searches as well as responding to community tip-offs.”
Arrests were made on various charges.

These included theft out of a motor vehicle; housebreaking; reckless and negligent driving; shoplifting and theft; attempted murder; rape; malicious damage to property; theft; armed robbery; possession of a stolen motor vehicle; house robbery; possession of a hijacked motor vehicle; driving under the influence of liquor; possession of drugs; drug dealing; possession of stolen property; contravention of protection order; assault GBH; theft of motor vehicle; possession of an unlicensed firearm; trespassing; traffic offenses and business breaking.
Maluleka said all the arrested suspects will appear in various Tshwane district magistrate’s courts.
