Pretoria Covid-19 overall total hits 48 611

Only about 60 new positive cases were recorded.

Pretoria’s overall Covid-19 positive cases climbed to 48 611 with 42 156 recoveries and 1 038 deaths thus far, according to figures published by the Department of Health.

This saw active cases in the region standing at 5 417 in the capital city.

 City of Tshwane 48 611  cases breakdown:

– City of Tshwane 1: Ga-Rankuwa, Mabopane, Winterveldt, Soshanguve, Rosslyn, Karen Park, Wonderboom, Akasia, Nina Park, Orchards, Amandasig, Theresa Park, Pretoria North (10 802);

– City of Tshwane 2: Hammanskraal, Temba, Suurman, Dilopye, Stinkwater, Ramotse, New Eersterust, Kameeldrift, Pyramid/Rooiwal, Doornpoort, Kekana Gardens, Marokolong, Randstown, Kanana (3 600)

– City of Tshwane 3: Atteridgeville, Laudium, Pretoria CBD, Hercules, Danville, Saulsville, Lotus Gardens, Pretoria West (15 054);

– City of Tshwane 4: Lyttelton, Eldoraigne, Waterkloof, Olievenhoutbosch, Rooihuiskraal, Centurion, Brooklyn, Hatfield (7 418);

– City of Tshwane 5: East Lynne, Rayton, Cullinan, Dewagensdrift, Refilwe, Silverton, Onverwacht (1 077);

– City of Tshwane 6: Eersterust, Lethabong, Mamelodi, Silver Lakes, Garsfontein, Lynnwood, Queenswood, Wilgers, Waltloo, Equestria, Mooikloof, Brummeria (9 269); and

– City of Tshwane 7: Ekangala, Sokhulumi, Dark City, Zithobeni, Bronkhorstspruit, Kanana, Rethabiseng (1 275).

In the Tshwane district, the department reported 116 unallocated cases.
