Foul play ruled out in man’s death
Karabo Raseboye died on Thursday, 22 October at 14:00 in an open veld at the corner of Dr van der Merwe and Jeugd roads in Montana.

Police have confirmed that reports stating a 39-year-old man was murdered in an open veld on the corner of Dr van der Merwe and Jeugd roads in Montana, Pretoria, last Thursday, are untrue.
They have since confirmed the death was due to natural causes.
“Karabo Raseboye was not murdered,” Sinoville police spokesperson Warrant Officer Johan van Dyk said.
“We could not see any visible injuries while at the scene. The standby pathologist also visited the scene and saw no injuries relating to murder.”
Reports last week claimed Raseboye was “brutally murdered” in the area.
Van Dyk, however, said, “the forensic pathologist cannot confirm this because autopsy results did not indicate any signs of murder”.
“The death certificate also sited natural causes as the cause of death.”
Raseboye was said to have died at 14:00.
Rumours claimed he had been hit with an iron bar on the head and body.
It was also alleged that the person believed to be behind the murder had since disappeared.
Van Dyk confirmed this to be untrue.
“We cannot confirm as it is only hearsay evidence at this stage.”
Meanwhile, the members of the ANC Youth League (ANCYL) in ward 5 of the Tshwane region expressed their condolences.
“The ANCYL ward 5 King Nyabela Mahlangu branch would like to send its deepest sympathy and condolences to the Rasebopye family and extended relatives.
“We are indeed mourning with the Rasebopye family as he was also a comrade of the ANC and ANCYL,” branch secretary Tebogo Seothaeng said.
He further said that the issue of community safety and security was very close to their hearts.
An inquest docket was being investigated.
