Three SuperSport United players have been added to the Bafana Bafana squad that will take on Sao Tomé Principe next month.
The national team will play Sao Tomé back to back as they look to book a place in the 2021 African Cup of Nations (Afcon).
The SuperSport United players included skipper Ronwen Williams, midfielder Teboho Mokoena and marksman Bradley Grobler.
Williams was recently crowned the goalkeeper of the season having accumulated 13 clean sheets last season. The 28-year-old Port Elizabeth shot-stopper is likely to start in both matches.
Mokoena, on the other hand, has been influential in the middle of the park. Although he faces stiff competition from Themba Zwane, Bongani Zungu and Dean Furman, he might make a surprise cameo.
Should Bafana cruise over the Falcons in the first match at home, then Mokoena might be considered in the first 11 for the return fixture.
Marksman Bradley Grobler is likely to start alongside Percy Tau and Kermit Erasmus. The 32-year-old has been on form in the past two years and was expected to lead the Bafana front-line that has been goal-shy for many years.
The first match will be played in Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium on 13 November 2020 (kick-off 19:00) while the away match will take place three days later on 16 November and kicks off at 17:00 (SA time).
According to the South African Football Association (Safa), players are required to report for camp and they are to assembly at OR Tambo International on Sunday, 8 November at 15:00 and leave for Durban were the team will be camping at Maharani Hotel until the last day.
