Local picnic concert attracts music lovers
The picnic concert saw artists like Valiant Swart, Kristen Richard and Jemma Pheiffer entertaining with their acoustic music.
Music lovers came in their numbers to attend the ‘Song vir ‘n Gin’ Picnic in the Monte Dome on Sunday afternoon.
The second concert if its kind was held at the brand-new Monte Dome at Monte de dios, Zwavelpoort, in the east of Pretoria.
The picnic concert saw artists like Valiant Swart, Kristen Richard and Jemma Pheiffer entertaining music lovers with their acoustic music.
Founder Wian Smith said the picnic concert was a family-friendly environment which allowed friends and families to relax.
“Picnic in the dome was a magical experience with a tent and top-quality technical equipment,” said Wian.
“Various refreshments were available and more than enough space for “social distancing”, at The Monte Dome you get an experience unique in its kind.
“All at one of Pretoria’s most popular venues, Monte de Dios,” he added.
The picnic concert was held in a massive tent and everyone was able to obey Covid-19 regulations.
