Armed robbers hit east post office

The post office in Elarduspark was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash on Wednesday morning.
Lyttelton police spokesperson Captain Dave Miller said two armed men entered the post office and held up the people inside.
“I can confirm that there was an armed robbery at the post office, no shots were fired,” he said
“The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, using a white Mercedes Benz to make their getaway.”
Miller said a case of armed robbery was being investigated and all available leads were being followed up.
