Over 200 arrested in Pretoria pre-festive operations

High police visibility on major routes and in shopping malls led to numerous arrests around the city.

Police spokesperson Constable Tumisang Moloto said the operations involved high police visibility on major routes and in shopping malls.

“As we continued to embark on gender-based violence campaigns, we issued thousands of pamphlets with valuable information at the Bloed, Quagga and Atlyn malls,” he said.
