Lambertus Robbertse, father of two – with another child on the way – sustained numerous serious injuries, when his car and another collided head on.

The 35-year-old father, who died in hospital last week following a horrific car accident, will be laid to rest on Thursday.
Lambertus Robbertse, father of two – with another child on the way – sustained numerous serious injuries on the Old Warmbaths Road, when his car and another collided head-on.
His pregnant wife and two-year-old daughter were with him in the car at the time of the accident.
His wife Riekie and unborn child was unscathed, and their daughter Luzandra was recovering well from her injuries.
Lambertus’ funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00, at the Reformed Church in Rooiwal.
His mother Charmain Wilson Robbertse wrote on Facebook:
To our son, brother, husband, father and cousin:
You live on inside us, warm and safe in our hearts.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
A part of all of us went with you,
The day God called you back home.
A million times we thought of you,
A million times we’ve cried,
If our love for you could have saved you,
You would have never died!
Forgive us Lord, as we will always weep, for the son we have loved so much,
But yet we could not keep.
Rest in peace our angel.
Lambertus leaves behind his parents, wife, children and family.
The family has started a BackaBuddy fundraiser to assist Lambertus’ wife and children during this difficult time.
