Three arrested in two drug busts

The Tshwane Metro Police drug unit arrested three suspected drug dealers on Thursday.

TMPD officers made the first arrest in Eersterust when they found a 31-year-old man in possession of drugs.

Later that afternoon TMPD proceeded to Akasia, near Wonderpark mall, where they joined forces with sector 2 community policing members in region 1 and 2.

Here they arrested two Zimbabweans nationals, aged 27 and 34, for allegedly dealing in drugs in a veld in the area.

They were found in possession of heroin and CAT.

The suspects were expected to appear in court soon.
