Akasia police search for double murder suspects
Police were called to the scene in the afternoon at around 14: 00 by one of the workers who managed to escape the ordeal, according to police spokesperson constable Lindiwe Mdluli.
A young “heavily” pregnant woman and her sister were murdered by home invaders in The Orchards in the north of Pretoria on Wednesday.

Mdluli said two men entered the premises after the owner of the house left.
“They came in and tied the wife of the man who had just left and her sister up,” said Mdluli.
“They badly beat up two workers, but they managed to escape and get help from the neighbours.”
ADT security and the police responded.
They were unfortunately too late and the two women were pronounced dead at the scene.
Mdluli said the motive for the double murder was unknown, but investigations were ongoing.
“We cannot disclose any more information on this matter, but are appealing to anyone with information that can lead to the suspects’ arrests to come forward.”
