Our Winter Drive was a huge success. Members of the community were very happy.

Many people have been struggling to make ends meet due to losing their livelihoods due to Covid-19 pandemic.

In effort to help those in need, the Faith and Hope Foundation NGO donated food parcels and other essentials to children and families in Ga-Rankuwa extension 23.

With the help of the Dockey Tladi foundation, the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) and community members, managed to provide residents with food parcels and other essentials.

The spokesperson of TUT, Phaphama Tshisikhawe explained that TUT has made it a mission to give back to communities in Pretoria.

“We identify registered NGOs located where we have campuses in Pretoria,” said Tshisikhawe.

“Once we have found an NGO we do a needs assessment and try to help as much as we can.”

They identified the Faith and Hope Foundation located in Ga-Rankuwa.

Here they donated school uniforms, toiletries, sanitary towels, stationery, masks and more to the community of Ga-Rankuwa.
