Grobler wins big at SuperSport awards
The Bafana Bafana striker also scooped home the golden boot last season in the inaugural DStv season after scoring 17 times for Matsatsantsa.
SuperSport United forward Bradley Grobler was the big winner at the club awards ceremony on Wednesday afternoon.
United held their end of 2020-2021 season awards ceremony on Wednesday at the Royal Elephant Hotel and Conference Centre in Centurion.
Matsatsantsa acknowledged their players and technical staff members for their contribution for this past season.
The 33-year-old triumphed more times at the awards ceremony than anyone else.
He won the Chairman’s Award, Golden Boot, Players’ Player and Player of the Season awards.
The Bafana Bafana striker also scooped home the golden boot last season in the inaugural DStv season after scoring 17 times for Matsatsantsa.
Gape Moralo won the CEO awards while Keenan Phillips won the Young Player award.
Paul Matthews (Team manager) and Bafana Sihlali (Club Physiotherapist) also won the coaches’ award.
SuperSport United will be in action next Saturday when they square off at the Princess Magogo Stadium against Golden Arrows.
