Missing Laudium man believed to have been hijacked
Aboo was apparently hijacked at 19:45 on the corner of Indigo and 19th Avenue before he was dropped off in Lotus Gardens.
A Laudium man who went missing earlier this week is believed to have been hijacked.
Fareed Aboo was reported missing on Wednesday evening by the Laudium Disaster Management (LDM) and other local groups who then embarked on a search party.
Aboo was apparently hijacked at 19:45 on the corner of Indigo and 19th Avenue before he was dropped off in Lotus Gardens. It is alleged that he was beaten up before being left on the side of the road.
LDM told Rekord that Aboo was found shortly after midnight while making his way to Kalafong hospital.
“We are unsure of the details surrounding the incident and what has transpired. Our members were only part of the search party and assisted in finding him and getting him safely back to his family,” LDM said.
