Family of Bokang Sekgala says it has been more than two weeks since he was last seen at his home in Mamelodi Gardens in Thaga Street.

Police seek assistance in finding a 23-year-old missing Mamelodi man who was last seen by his family more than two weeks ago.
Bokang Sekgala was last seen at his grandfather’s home in Mamelodi Gardens in Thaga Street on February 20.
Mamelodi police spokesperson, Constable Lethabo Mashiloane said at the time of Bokang’s disappearance, he was seen wearing blue jeans and a light grey jacket with a hoody.
“Mamelodi East police are investigating a missing person case and appeal to the public for assistance in locating Bokang Sekgala,” Mashiloane said.
Mother Suzan Sekgala said she was worried as weeks went by without any sight of her son.
“My son was last seen at his grandfathers’ home on that particular Sunday. He had a plastic when he left home, he did not say where he was going,” she said.

“I feel bad that I do not know where my son is, I do not know what he is eating or where he is sleeping.
“This is so difficult for me as a mother.”
Suzan said her son was struggling with drug abuse.
“As mothers of boy children, we are facing the challenge of drug abuse which is all over our communities,” she said.
“I am appealing to the public that if anyone sees my son to bring him home or to call the police.”
