Four men arrested for dealing in marijuana

Four men were found offloading bags of marijuana in West Park.

Four men aged between 32 and 45 were arrested for dealing marijuana in Pretoria West on Wednesday afternoon, March 30.

Spokesperson of Pretoria West police Constable Sibongile Vuma, said the arrest was made around 17:00 at West Park.

She said crime prevention officers were patrolling Pretoria West on the lookout for a BMW and a Kia Rio, which were identified through a tip-off.

“They followed the two cars which led them to a house in West Park.

“When the police entered the yard, they found four men offloading marijuana, wrapped in black and yellow plastic bags.

“They were in possession of 10 plastic bags containing marijuana,” said Vuma.

She said the bags were to be delivered to buyers as they had names written on them.

Vuma said the four men were arrested for possession of marijuana and dealing in marijuana.

“The suspects will appear before the magistrate’s court,” Vuma said.
