The three security officers, who were shot and killed on duty in Centurion, will be honoured in a memorial service on Friday, April 7, at Heuweloord Community Centre.
Daniel Dala Emidio and Miguel Manuel were shot dead on duty on Wednesday, April 6.
Ronald Isaac Mokumo was also shot dead in a gun battle with eight robbers on Saturday, April 2.
Speaking to Rekord, director of Union Specific Michelle Crewe, said the memorial service will be between 15:00 and 17:00.
Crewe said the memorial service was organised by the owner of Scorpion Risk Services, Riaan Erasmus.
“This is not just a memorial service, we will also be bringing all the security companies together because we have to show them that they matter.”

Crewe said most security companies within the Tshwane region will be present at the service.
Among security companies, CPFs, police officers, medical services, pastors, councillors and respondents will be present at the service.
“Crime responders are a family. It is very important for members of CPF, police and security officers to be present because these are the people they connected with daily,” said Crewe.

She said the program includes a pastor who will open the service, a convoy guided by Scorpion Securities and a vote of thanks to the community of Centurion.
“I cannot thank the community of Centurion enough. They stepped in and sponsored this whole memorial service in honour of the fallen heroes.
“Out of their own free will, they made it possible for us to accommodate about 80 people at the service,” she said.
Crewe added that the donated amount ranges between R8000 and R10 000.
