Cold front to hit Tshwane this week
Weather service says the cold front will be accompanied by partly cloudy conditions.

Tshwane is set to experience a cold front this week with temperatures expected to drop to as low as 4°C in the evenings.
A forecaster for the South African Weather Service, Dipuo Tawana, told Rekord that the cold front will emerge from the Southern parts of the country.
She said the cold front will be accompanied by partly cloudy conditions expected from Wednesday.
“On Wednesday, expect chill conditions with a maximum of 16°C.
“Temperatures are, however, expected to drop significantly to a minimum of 4°C on Thursday,” she said.
With the cold front expected to hit Tshwane, the SAPS urged residents to exercise caution when using heaters.
They had the following safety tips for using heaters:
– Keep your heater away from any flammable or combustible materials.
– Remember to switch off the heater when nobody is at home or the office.
– When using a fuel-fired heater in an enclosed area, leave a window or door partially open to allow fresh air to enter.
– Never take a gas fire or kerosene heater into a confined space as the results could be deadly.
