As a special treat and to create interest, they were invited to take part during a demonstration in which they were taught how fires are extinguished with the water hose.

In light of their mission, which is to prevent fires in the area, the Sinoville Firefighting Association recently visited the children of the Maja Kleuterskool to educate them on fire safety.

Two of the organisation’s volunteers took the opportunity to highlight the dangers of fires, and to keep their attention the children were shown the equipment used to put out fires as well as to learn about their functions.
