Eskom introduces stage four load shedding for the weekend
Eskom announced stage four will be implemented due to additional break downs overnight
Eskom has announced that they will be implementing stage four loadshedding from 10:00 this morning until 05:00 on Monday morning.
The following groups will be affected on Saturday:
08:10 to 10:30 – 3, 7, 11, 15
10:00 to 12:00 – 4, 8, 12, 16
12:00 to 14:00 – 5, 9, 13, 1

14:00 to 16:30 – 6, 10, 14, 2
16:00 to 18:30 – 7, 11, 15, 3
18:00 to 20:30 – 8, 12, 16, 4
20:00 22:30 – 9, 13, 1, 5
“Regretfully, due to additional break downs overnight, Eskom was unable to replenish the emergency generation reserves, which has worsened the current generation capacity constraints.
“Stage four loadshedding will therefore be implemented from 10:00 this morning until 05:00 on Monday morning.
“This is to replenish the emergency reserves in order to contain loadshedding to lower stages next week,” Eskom said in a statement.
Eskom asks that South Africans use electricity sparingly during this time.
