Central artist releases mixtape for the heartbroken
The 24-year-old Arcadia resident says the tape details his turbulent past in intimate relationships he has been involved in.
Samuel Tabara, also known as Bilmar, returns with his second mixtape release this year titled, A Sad Relation With Women.
The 24-year-old Arcadia resident says the tape details his turbulent past in intimate relationships he has been involved in. Listeners can expect an emotionally charged project that all lovers can relate to.
“I feel like most people at some point in their lives experience some sort of heartbreak or trauma in their love lives. This new mixtape explicitly highlights the stages one goes through when they are experiencing the sad periods of love. And as a result, it is relatable to everyone in or out of a relationship,” said Bilmar.
Bilmar recently released a mixtape this past July titled The Faded Colours Mixtape in honour of his mother who passed away in 2018. The 16-track “featureless” project is the second released in the artist’s lifetime and was worked by only two producers.
The no-feature trend continues in this second offering of the year, with 10 tracks all performed by Bilmar, the young artist has released 26 songs in three months and says he wants to keep this momentum going.
“I’ve had a pretty turbulent but productive 2022. Having experienced disappointments with love, family-related issues, financial constraints and even betrayal, the one shining light has been music,” continued Bilmar.
Representing Stateless Entertainment, Bilmar accredits his label for his musical progression.
“I face severe mental challenges, which I can overcome by making music and all the services I need are provided by the label.”
A Sad Relation With Women is released on October 7, after which Bilmar plans to do a small tour in his hometown of Arcadia. He says he looks forward to connecting with his fans for the remainder of the year.
Bilmar hopes fellow upcoming artists won’t let circumstances halt their dreams, and to always keep pursuing their passion – no matter what.
“We have to keep it moving! There are so many challenges for us as upcoming artists but the key is to never give up. Music is life and life is extremely challenging but I think that is what makes this journey beautiful. Because when things get tough, we only get stronger and it is through perseverance that we end up appreciating the calling of being a successful artist,” concluded Bilmar.
