Two die in Pretoria car accident

Two people died in an accident on President Steyn and Veldkornet Roos streets in Wolmer, Pretoria, on Friday evening.

Details surrounding the accident are limited at this stage.

According to BestCare Ambulance Services spokesperson Margot van Rooyen, paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after the accident, which involved two vehicles, happened at around 17:30.

Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the injured motorists after extracting them from a vehicle.

Unfortunately, two passed away.

The cause of the accident and the circumstances surrounding it will be the subject of a police investigation.
