Body of missing woman recovered
Earlier this morning, it was confirmed that Landi’s body was found at 09:46 in a statement posted on social media.
Landi Prinsloo, who was last seen in Kameeldrift Road, northeast of Pretoria at 08:15 on Thursday, was this morning found deceased.
Late afternoon on Friday police said they were still investigating the matter. They were unable to confirm whether foul play was suspected or ruled out. This is a developing story.
Landi’s car, a white Toyota Prado, was recovered on Moloto Road late on Thursday.
Her handbag was found inside but neither Landi nor her cellphone was located.

Husband, Jann, says that the Roodeplaat K9 unit recovered her phone and items of clothing next to the river nearby.
He said the search party had resumed the search the following day.
Rekord has learned from a statement on social media that Landi’s body was found at 09:46 this morning.
“Landi has been found and is in a better place; thanks for everyone’s help and support, we are all sad.”
Further investigations are currently underway.
Residents with any relevant information to the case are urged to reach out to local law enforcement.
Jann extended his gratitude to everyone involved in the effort, including the K9 team, drone operators, helicopter support, Advanced Paramedic Assistance, SAPS, and all the people in the community that came out to help.
