BREAKING: Kidnapped businessman home safe

He was confirmed safe on Saturday morning three weeks after Leonardo’s Mercedes Benz G Wagon was found at Vesterark (R568) with bullet holes in the windscreen.

Local businessman Juca Leonardo(55), who was kidnapped in Bronkhorstpruit on Thursday, April 13, has been found and is home safe.

Details are sketchy at this point and Rekord will update readers as more information is received.

Leonard was wearing dark blue denims and a blue polo shirt when he was last seen.

His Mercedes Benz G Wagon was found at Vesterark (R568) with bullet holes in the windscreen.

“This kidnapping was well-oiled as the suspects were possibly heavily armed,” said Private investigator Mike Bolhuis at the time of Leonardo’s kidnapping.

“We were called, with security and friends who assisted in trying to locate Juca.

“His vehicle was seemingly found in a different spot from his abduction.”

Bolhuis had seven special investigators working on the case.
