Man killed and four other people injured in Donkerhoek crash
A light motor vehicle overturned and rolled down an embankment.
An adult man sustained fatal injuries when his light motor vehicle crashed and overturned on the N4 near Donkerhoek on Saturday night.
Responding to the incident, Emer-G-Med paramedics found two light motor vehicles had collided and one overturned and rolled down an embankment.
Kyle Van Reenen, spokesperson for Emer-G-Med paramedic services, said paramedics responded to the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision.
“On arrival at the scene they found an adult man trapped in his light motor vehicle.
“He was declared dead by paramedics.
“The occupants of the second vehicle incurred minor injuries only,” Van Reenen said.
He said the cause of the accident will form part of a police investigation.
The police were called to the scene.
