Emer-G-Med paramedics say that it is alleged that the men were shot by armed suspects in an attempted hijacking incident.
Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene of a shooting in a suspected hijacking on a rural road in the Tierpoort area on Thursday.
Paramedics and first responders arrived on the scene just after 21:00 on June 15.

Van Reenen said there was nothing that could be done for the man and he was declared dead on the scene.
“A second man was transported with gunshot injuries prior to the arrival of paramedics,” Van Reenen continued.
