Emergency water supply shutdown in Ninapark
The emergency water shutdown is due to scheduled repairs at Willem Cruywagen Street and Berg Avenue.
Several suburbs in the north will be without water for eight hours on Monday, February 5 owing to burst pipe repairs.
Metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo said the emergency water shutdown in Ninapark is due to repairs to two leaking water pipes at 80 Willem Cruywagen Street and 138 Berg Avenue.
Mashigo said the repairs are estimated to last for eight hours, from 09:00 to 17h00.
“As a results of the repairs, water will be shut down.”

Mashigo said the following areas will be affected by the water shut down:
– Ninapark
– Theresapark
– Heatherdale
– Heatherview
– Clarina
– Winterness
He urged residents to report burst pipes and all incidents of water wastage via the following numbers:
– no water supply, burst water pipes, leaking meters or blocked sewers on 012 358 9999 or 080 1111 556
– illegal water connection on 012 358 9060
– non-payment on 012 345 8514
– account enquiries on 012 358 9999.
“Tshwane apologises profusely for the inconvenience that may be encountered as a result of this temporary shutdown,” Mashigo said.
