Centurion security officer gunned down, while on duty
According to reports, multiple shots were fired during the incident earlier in the morning.
A security officer was shot dead in Marquard Street, The Reeds on February 23.
According to reports, multiple shots were fired during the incident which occurred in the morning.
Monitor Net spokesperson JP Le Roux confirmed that the gunned-down officer was part of the Monitor Net stable.
He said the incident occurred around 11:00.
“A Monitor Net security officer was shot dead. Circumstances around the incident cannot be divulged currently.”
He said this was due to investigations occurring at this point.
Police were not able to comment at the time of publishing.
