First-year students have a memorable orientation
Orientation Week (or O' Week) at a college in Pretoria east was enjoyed by all.

Celebrating the culmination of a memorable Orientation Week (O’Week) are some of The IIE’s Varsity College Pretoria’s first-year students.
College spokesperson Nono Likhoeli said the curtains closed on a week of excitement with a fun-filled party in the park at the picturesque Pretoria botanical gardens.
She said as is tradition, the weeklong O’Week introduces students to the campus, staff and lecturers, fellow students and overall student experience.
A series of informative, insightful and exciting sessions were hosted on and off campus, which included an academic induction evening and a fun-filled day at Cedar Junction family resort.
Bachelor of Commerce first year student Brian Baguma said: “My favourite part of O’Week was meeting new people. Engaging with fellow new students definitely promoted a sense of belonging to the student body, regardless of which faculty one is in.”
