Tshwane bus services addresses long queues, overloading
Tshwane has rescheduled it's bus rooster after customers voiced their frustrations on bus services.

Tshwane Bus Services has amended the bus schedule effective from the first week of April after customers complained about the overloading of buses and long queues.
The schedule was improved after analysis showed the frustration of customers having to wait in long queues, only to find buses full.
Roads and Transport MMC Katlego Mathebe said the new bus schedule is set to improve operations by focusing on those suburban areas with the most commuters.
Mathebe highlighted the areas as the following:
– West Park 1-8
– Brooklyn 5 and 8
– Centurion
– Danville 1-6
– The Willows
– Erasmia 2 and 3
– East Lynne 1 and 2
– Monument Park 1 and 2
– Mountain View 1 and 2
– Olievenhoutbosch
– The Orchards 1-3
– Pretoria Gardens 1
She said the city has added more stops in these areas and still runs 160 shifts altogether.
Mathebe added there is a waiting period of between 15 minutes and 30 minutes between trips in these shifts.
She said Tshwane Bus Services will continue to be an affordable option for commuters to reach work and school.
