Villieria police request help in finding missing man

An East Lynne family is urgently looking for the man who disappeared on April 19.

Xander Richter (29) of East Lynne was last seen yesterday, wearing black short pants and, a grey and blue t-shirt.

Family member Martin Kruger said Ritcher was last seen going to the shop and has unfortunately not yet returned home.

“What we know is that he was seen in Silverton last night, but we are also putting together a search party so that we can work with the police to find him,” said Kruger.

Kruger said Ritcher has green eyes and several tattoos – a quote from Philippians, a compass and bird on the left arm, and “Ethan” on his chest.

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Duane Lightfoot, confirmed police are investigating a missing persons case.

He said the family has already searched almost everywhere for Ritcher and is pleading with the public to help locate him.

“The missing Ritcher is 1.9 meters tall, weighing 109kg, and has brown hair,” said Lightfoot.

The police said there is no waiting period to report a missing person.
