Three ‘stolen’ vehicles recovered, man arrested
The Tshwane Flying Squad recovered a VW Polo, Toyota bakkie and a Toyota SUV on the same day in separate incidents.
The Tshwane Flying Squad recovered three stolen vehicles in separate incidents and arrested one person on Sunday.
The 34-year-old suspect will be appearing in court on Thursday.
According to Tshwane Flying Squad spokesperson Alfred Makwati Legodi, around 15:30, members recovered a stolen black VW Polo in Mamelodi East.

On preliminary investigation officers found that the vehicle valued at R95 000 was stolen in Sunnyside.
“At around 15:55 members were patrolling at Centurion Corn Hall mall when they saw a white Toyota Fortuner that had false registration,” said Legodi.
He said upon investigation, officers discovered that the vehicle valued at R680 000 was stolen in Wierdabrug.
Legodi said later the same day around 17:00, officers arrested one man aged 34 years in Block TT Soshanguve for possession of a stolen vehicle.

He added that the vehicle was a white Toyota Fortuner fitted with false numberplate.
A preliminary investigation uncovered that the vehicle valued at R85 000 was stolen in Rustenburg.
“All vehicle were taken to Pretoria West SAPS pound for safe-keeping.”
