Winner of The Voice SA Season 2 Craig Lucas has come a long way in his now booming career from Clarke Estate in Elsies River in Cape Town where he grew up. He said performing at the event was a dream come true.
“It just comes to show hard work and perseverance can lead one far beyond your wildest dreams,” said Lucas. He also sang a duet of the well-known “The Prayer” with diva Corlea Botha, recognised for her incredible vocal range. He held his own.
Charming Lee Cole sang the Christmas pop classic “All I Want for Christmas” from the film Love Actually with a twinkle in his eye and a beat in his hips, working the stage from left to right and hopping into the audience to their delight. He will be opening for Robbie Williams during his tour next year.
