Revolution Trails hosts Irene trail and road run
The organiser aims to reach more people this year.

Over 100 runners braved the wet weather to participate in a weekend road or trail run at Irene Athletics Clubhouse hosted by Revolution Trails.
This was the fifth run of the year at the Clubhouse so far while Revolution Trails has been holding its weekly races around the metro and beyond.
Irene Estate has also been a favourite for Revolution Trails since October 2020.
Revolution Trails offers a pet-friendly race every Wednesday and two Saturdays for residents who can choose between 2km, 5km, and 10km distances.
Zander Changuion of Revolution Trails says most locals find the runs a great way to exercise or earn vitality points.
“We want to go bigger this year, with more runs and more people and ensure we reach as many people as we can. It’s so nice, you can come in early or a bit later, it’s close to your home, lots of fun people to meet and it’s a great way to stay in shape.”
Revolution Trails hosts runs in areas such as Lynnwood Road, Grootfontein, Midrand and many other locations.
